The present collection is made of lectures and messages from the First Reading devoted to memory of Vasylij Vasyljevich Davydov (Moscow, October 1998).
The programme of this Reading was wider than materials of this book, but editorial board published all that participants had sent.
During the final sitting it was confirm the primary decision to spend Davydov`s Reading once in two years.
